Honey Sesame Grilled Chicken

Here’s a quick Asian-inspired chicken marinade that’s perfect for changing things up this summer. Honey, soy and ginger together are a perfect marriage of flavors.



This recipe comes together in a flash. Pour all the ingredients into a large zip plastic bag, marinate for 30+ minutes, and then grill. What are you waiting for?



INGREDIENTS:


3-4 chicken breasts

3 TBSP soy sauce

3 TBSP rice wine vinegar

2 TBSP honey

2 TBSP sesame oil

1 TBSP fresh grated ginger

2 cloves crushed garlic



PREPARATION:

  1. Place all ingredients in a large zip plastic bag or mixing bowl, and ensure the chicken is well coated on all sides.

  2. Let chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least ½ hour or more.

  3. Grill chicken over medium heat for approximately 4 minutes on each side.


IMPORTANT NOTE:

Because this marinade is high in sugar content, be sure to pay attention as it cooks since the drippings will have a tendency to create flames and possibly char the chicken. You can brush the chicken with marinade in the first few minutes, but do NOT use the remaining marinade once chicken is cooked.
