What's Cooking This Week...

Summer is here! The last of the school bells have rung, pools are opening, and summer produce has hit the stands. Over the next few weeks we’ll be sharing recipes that require more fresh ingredients and less cooking. We’re just getting started when it comes to cheffing up some of our summer favorites! Here’s what’s on the menu this week— with key ingredients included.



Tandoori-style Chicken Kabobs

  • Boneless & skinless chicken breasts or thighs

  • Full fat Greek yogurt

  • Fresh garlic and lemon

  • Cumin, coriander, turmeric and paprika

Orzo Salad

  • Orzo pasta

  • Cucumber

  • Chickpeas/garbanzo beans

  • Feta

  • Red pepper (or tomato), kalamata olives

  • Shallot or red onion

  • Lemon

  • Red wine vinegar

  • Flat-leaf parsley

Tzatziki

  • Greek yogurt

  • Garlic

  • Lemon

  • Dill (Fresh or dried)

  • Cucumber

Gluten-free Banana Bread

  • Bananas

  • Oatmeal

  • Gluten-free flour

  • Maple Syrup

  • Coconut Oil

  • Eggs

Margaritas

  • Tequila

  • Limes

  • Orange juice (or orange liquor)

  • Sweetener such as agave, honey or simple syrup

  • Seltzer (for ‘skinny’ version)
